Happy St. Patty’s Day!!!

Sunday, March 16th, 2008

A multitude of toasts to you, my friends:

There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea. But the best ships, are friendships, and may they always be.

My friends are the best friends – Loyal, willing and able.
Now let’s get to drinking! All glasses off the table!

Here’s to a long life and a merry one. A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one. A cold pint– and another one!

May you have all the happiness and luck that life can hold—
And at the end of all your rainbows may you find a pot of gold.

Merry Christmas!!

Here Comes Santa Claus . . .

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

. . . right down Lake Burien.

We were lucky enough to be invited back to Cynthia and Rick’s home on the lake for their fun Christmas party, Cynthia’s AWESOME cream wafers and a visit from ol’ Kris Kringle straight from the barge. Gwen and Jack joined us along with Vonnie and Earl to watch as Clara and Jack received their stockings filled with toys and treats.

Merry Christams to all!!!

Goodnight!

Red Skeleton Reincarnated

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

Poor Clara was sick at Thanksgiving and her grandmother captured this picture of Clara playing with the old fashioned hats. Reminded grandma of a Red Skeleton skit. A bit before my time, but I’d say she’s right about it, nonetheless. What do you think?

Happy Halloween!!

Clara’s first May Day flowers were left on our doorstep this afternoon by her benefactor.

Clara thought, . . .

“these look good enough to eat” . . .

Um, not so much.

“HAPPY MAY DAY, EVERYONE!!!”
